General Description: Hotel edda ÍkÍ is located in the village near lake laugarvatn. The hotel has a delightful, romantic restaurant overlooking the lake. At the restaurant emphasis is placed on shining snacks during the day, and a fine menu for dinner. At breakfast, guests can spread on an excellent buffet. The restaurant seats 60 people. The building is used as a boarding school for the devition of sport and physical education university of iceland during the winter time and is on two floors. At the hotel there are good facilities for smaller conferences and meetings, where three classrooms are available during the summer time. Computer projector available for an extra charge.The swimming pool, which is a fine 25 metre open air pool, is only five minutes walk from the hotel. There are also two hot tups. Adjacent to the swimming pool, at the shore of the lake, is the famous laugarvatn natural sauna.
