General Description

Located 32 km from selfoss in the town of laugarás, this comfy hotel offers superb river views, a lovely uncomplicated environment and a authentic taste of icelandic village life.
Nearby are numerous legendary sights; be sure to visit thingvellir national park, mount hekla volcano and the historically meaningful site of skalholt.
Hotel hvítá has a cosy in-house eatery serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, consisting of both special local dishes and international delicacies. The eatery is closed between 1 october and 30 april but guests can still have dinner at the hotel if it is requested in advance.
At hotel hvítá events can be arranged for groups of up to 150 people.
